Keystone LandWorks LLC is a locally owned land services contractor based in the Northern Neck of Virginia. We have been doing this work for 25 years — and the work itself, plus the way we communicate with property owners, is what has kept the phone ringing.
What We Do
We specialize in forestry mulching, land clearing, excavation, and gravel driveway installation. The common thread across all of it is turning difficult property into usable, finished land — whether that means clearing an overgrown lot, opening a homesite, building a driveway from the road back to a new home, or grading a building pad.
Who We Work With
Homeowners, landowners, farmers, hunters, contractors, and developers across Essex, Richmond, Lancaster, Northumberland, and Westmoreland Counties. Most of our work is residential — homesites, driveways, lot reclamation, and farm property improvement — but we also handle commercial site prep and right-of-way work.
How We Work
Three things define how we run a job:
- We walk every property before we quote. Land work that gets quoted by phone is land work that has surprises in the price later.
- We give straight numbers. Estimates are written, scoped, and honest. You should not be wondering halfway through what the bill will look like.
- We finish clean. The property should look better when we leave than it did when we showed up. Not just clear — finished.

Keystone LandWorks is fully licensed and insured for the work we do. We are locally based and locally accountable. If something needs follow-up, you are not chasing an out-of-state crew.
